I specialise in clinical negligence claims and catastrophic personal injury claims — both often involve a spinal cord injury.
I believe that my job is about much more than just providing legal advice. Spinal Cord Injury can have a traumatic effect on everyone involved and my role is to provide emotional as well as practical support to my clients and their families.
This means making sure that my clients have the right care, support and equipment. And I often take clients to appointments myself when they are nervous or under stress.
Clinical negligence cases involving Spinal Cord Injury are challenging and the investigative and legal processes are often demanding. With my expertise and long experience in this field, I achieve the best possible outcome for my clients.”
I have been a practicing solicitor for over 26 years. I am a graduate of the University of Wales and I completed my law exams at Birmingham. I have worked in both the UK and Australia. I am also a well-respected advocate, representing families at inquests in clinical negligence matters and after accidents.
I regularly lecture to both clinicians and support staff in order to explain the court process — covering everything from evidence gathering and witness statements to techniques in cross-examination.
What my clients say
“Without Vicky’s experience and technical ability I would not have been able to pursue a claim. I cannot thank her enough for winning my case in such a convincing manner and for inspiring me to keep on fighting.” -
“I would just like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Vicky. I think you are marvellous. I shall miss you. Thanks again.” -
“My claim was dealt with in a professional and very satisfactory manner — thank you!”
I am based at our Eastleigh office but work across the UK.
